To start designing your factory use the Main Menu tab, you will then be met with all the equipments you can create your factory with.

Here you can also find all components that fit the selected equipment, this tab is the most used one in the DL Factory Builder.

To create a new equipment click anywhere on the scenary to see all equipments available on the main menu, then simply drag it to where you want. You can rotate it or change its place if needed.

Once an equipment is created you will be able to see all components you can attach the equipment with.

To implement something to an equipment just click on it. All components will pop up on the menu, then drag the component to its place.

In this project we want to design something simple but practical, so the only equipment the factory is going to have is the Belt Conveyor and its components.

The project must select only large cardboxes and discard the rest. For this we will use a piston, a sensor, a cardbox creator and a cardbox destroyer.

Once the DL Factory Builder is opened your factory will be empty, if you wish to open an ongoing project or change its settings access the Scenary Settings.

Here you can either save or load your scenary as well as change settings like Scenary Name, Owner and Protection key.
